RogerLeBanni
Hi, I've just finished 1 Sal's run, a lot more of Rook's runs (harder...) and the Smith's first part. Great job so far for the french version ! But I think these changes will suit better for gameplay mecanism understanding : "original translation" -> "suggested translation" "greffe" -> "implant" (huge change for a more futuristic background, common term in SF) "créneau de greffe" -> "emplacement d'implant" (first trans is pretty much nonsense IMHO) "débourser" -> "écarter" (cards terminology, first trans is pretty much nonsense here) "détermination" -> "volonté" (negotiation "HP" terminology, shorter and less confusing) "éliminer / supprimer" -> "défausser" (cards terminology, extremely common in real ECGs) "gagne 4 x Défense / gagne 1 x Combo" -> "gagne 4 Défense / gagne 1 Combo" (getting rid of the "x" in general for easier cards effects reading) "inflige 3 de dégât" -> "inflige 3 dégât(s)" (the same here with plural form alt) I've made these changes myself for consistency (especially during dialogues) and ingame tests and it's really more comfy ^^ Who's in charge for the french translation ? Is there a repository somewhere in order to suggest modifications ?
RogerLeBanni
Some more suggested fixes after few plays : Missing gender oriented description in CHARACTERS part. You have to add a "1" prefix before "gender" to avoid display bug during dialogues, like this : Quote #. CHARACTER.BARTENDER.TITLE msgctxt "CHARACTER.BARTENDER.TITLE" msgid "Bartender" msgstr "{1.gender:Barman|Barmaid}" You need to fix the {CONSOMMER} variable with {CONSUME} instead (I saw this on an 2 cost upgraded Rook's basic attack card). Some {baron.gender:xxxxx|xxxx} are displayed ingame. You can fix this by replacing "baron" by "agent" : {agent.gender:xxxx|xxxx}. It will works. Some dialogues boxes display {saler.gender} ingame. Fix this by replacing "saler" by "seller" : {seller.gender}. All of those fixes have been tested and aproved.
