[Google Gloud]Dedicated Server capacity limit

Recommended Posts

I have a linux dedicated server running on Google Compute E2-Standard machine(2 vCpu at 2 Ghz base clock + SSD + Debian 10)
Current group is about 5-6 players and 130 days at the moment. No performance issue so far but I see it coming with perhaps 500+ days or less.

My server options are pretty much default except for tumbleweed 'often' and running with about 15 mods.

This is htop screen of the machine with about 120 days and 5 players. I am aware 8g ram is overkill.

I know google cloud isn't ideal for 'game servers' especially for games that heavily depends on single core(like DST) but still I am quite surprised with usage of resources. Since I am already using linux, ssd and e2 machine... my only choice of upgrade would be c2 machine(cpu optimized) but I believe it doesn't have relatively high clock speed or single core performance compared to desktop version cpu like recent i5 or i7.

My question is approximately how many days would google compute c2 machine handle with 5-6 players without performance issue?
