I'm having the same issue. As far as I can tell, the email address is the same on both accounts.

I'm having the same problem, my Klei, Epic, and Steam accounts are all using the same email. I can't figure out what the problem might be.

Yep. Both accounts have the exact same email and have been validated but I can't merge the accounts due to these errors. Frankly I'm pretty annoyed by just how many hoops you have to jump through just to do it, and then on top of that the forums themselves require their own account to post here instead of letting you use the accounts you just set up.. :P
