purugly
What I mean is the way the viewport drifts into position after moving around and then stopping. It looks nice in videos, but in actual gameplay I find that I only notice it when it causes me to misclick because the thing that was under the cursor moved just outside the selection area. I'd really like a mod that makes the camera perfectly follow the player. Is there one? Is this even possible to do? Ultroman
I made this. Try it out. It's not very elegant, but it works. Just set "Catch-up Speed" to a very high value. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2011885958 I'm not sure how "Heading Gain" works, but "Zoom Speed" should be self-explanatory. 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/116114-looking-for-mod-that-makes-the-camera-not-floaty/#findComment-1312299 Share on other sites
purugly
Wow, this is exactly the kind of thing I was hoping for! It's kind of weird that you can't configure the camera settings by default when the values aren't hard-coded. Working great so far, will post on the Steam Workshop page if I encounter any problems. 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/116114-looking-for-mod-that-makes-the-camera-not-floaty/#findComment-1312755 Share on other sites
