Making custom character looking for suggestions/feedback

Let me introduce the Friendly Nomad!

He is based on the nomadic people of Mongolia focusing on a mostly nomadic play style.https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=894248439 Helped inspire this character as well.

Similar too the Mongolians Nomad counts on his bond with Beefalo to survive.

 

As of right now Nomad is fully playable and implemented in DST. not available on workshop (yet)

I am looking for suggestions/feedback on what perks/items to implement into the mod.

 

Here is what I am thinking so far:

HP: 150 - Average

Sanity: 150 - Lower than average ( always a good way to balance customer characters)

Hunger: 225 - (above average to fit the theme )

 

Potential Perks/Disadvantages:

"Well Traveled" - Increased Run Speed (7) [This could also be a custom Walking Stick Item]

"Friend of Beefalo" - Positive Sanity Aura around Beefalo or Non hostile mating (Maybe both?)

" Not a picky eater" - Similar to WX-78

"Agoraphobia" - Negative sanity aura when near structures (maybe unable to craft certain structures?)

 

Potential New Items:

Portable Salt Lick (to make traveling without a base easier)

Beefalo Snacks (for use in domestication)

Saddle Bags - Mobile Beefalo Storage (Since we are not basing with chest)

Walking Stick - See above "Well Traveled" Perk

Wooly Pack - 12 Slots? (Backpack + Wool + Twigs ?)

Any Feedback or suggestions you can give the better. Specifically looking for help on adding to characters theme without making character OP, throw some fun disadvantages down to consider.
