Achievements

Have achievements per asteroid type. Having them per map is fine as its a challenge in its self to do all of them in one go. If you can open up achievements to modders it would allow people to make challenge maps. Each asteroid could share many of the same base ones but have a few tossed in for that type. Limiting tech for X amount of time on a given type would work. IE no Heaters or Tepidizer  on Rime for X days. Currently some of them are just down right brutal on a given asteroid. Carnivore on Rime for instance.  

Speaking of...

Carnivore is a bit unreasonable IMO. You need to harvest and eat 114 hatches in 100 days. 20ish days to get a rancher and say 10-12 dupes would take 40 or so days to eat that much. So thats a stable egg producing population of 24? hatches by cycle 60. Note, they really need to be full grown and dropping eggs by cycle 40 without incubators. (20 days to self hatch) Short of using a lot of incubators to jump start the population. racing to the surface to hunt voles or save scumming for egg care packages I'm not sure how to pull this off.
