Modding woodlegs files help

Hi i need some help on modding, i want to mod Woodlegs sanity drop on land, completely remove it so i can use him in other worlds, and how to delete/severly reduce his pirate hat ability as well, i find it too overpowered. Thanks

You can edit the game files instead of making mod

Here is how to do it

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\dont_starve\data\DLC0002\scripts, Open "tuning,lua" with notepad

Search for "
 

     WOODLEGS_WATER_SANITY

Set it to 0, no more sanity lose on land

For his hat: search the same file for

WOODLEGSHAT_TREASURES

This will set up how many treasures per hat you can find, set it to 0 if you don't want any treasures.

 WOODLEGSHAT_PERISHTIME

This will set how much time before its perish, right now you can wear it for 10 days before it perish.

This if you ant to change in shipwrecked compatible world,

If you are playing in hamlet compatible world,  change the tuning,lua of DLC3 too (C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\dont_starve\data\DLC0003\scripts)
