hi im new to moding dont starve and wanted to make a custom charater, but the videos on youtube are old and say i need to change the modinfo to say what version, i dont know where to look for this any help would be awesome!! sorry for the bad spelling!

Current DS api version is 6, and current DST api version is 10.

If you're talking about the version variable in modinfo, that's YOUR version variable. You can make it whatever you want.

0.0.1
0.1
1

Whatever you want. You just need to know that every new version you upload needs to have a higher number e.g.

0.0.1 => 0.0.2 or 0.1.0 or 1.0.0 or 1.1.5
0.1 => 0.2 or 1.0 or 1.2
1 => 2 or 3 or 4
