Ma.banae Posted March 14, 2019 Share Posted March 14, 2019 Hi i'm playing Wickerbottom and i wanted to try bee queen with help of on tentacle , so i summoned some around hive before i engage bee queen . now i cant hammer the hive not because i get killed or tentacles rise , but because the only thing that is getting targeted by my character are tentacles that are around the hive and i cant hammer the damn hive in the 2 3 sec window that i have around tentacles, is there anyway to engage bee queen other than hammering the hive ? as there was no answer on my last topic it seems Klei is not going to add keyboard and mouse support to ps4. and also it is nearly impossible to kill those tentacles without help of deerclops or bearger . Mahoood Posted March 14, 2019 Share Posted March 14, 2019 Since tentacles dont have an AOE, bringing followers or planting spider dens nearby will slowly clear them. Alternatively you can use gunpowder. A single catapult works too that u can hammer later if u have winona. A single catapult works too that u can hammer later if u have winona. thanks you , yea there are lots of ways to clear them, but i wanted them alive to aid on bee queen, my real question is that, if there was a way to engage bee queen other than hammering her hive? like gun powder maybe ?! Mahoood Posted March 14, 2019 Share Posted March 14, 2019 As far as i know there is no other way to start the fight, you dont have to spawn the tentacles that close to the hive. 8x8 grass wall and 5 books are enough a bit further from the hive.
