World didnt save and reset to day 1

Me and my friends played DST for a couple of hours yesterday and when i went to start up the server today the world was set to day 1. The game saves every day so i dont understand how the whole world can just reset. We were already in winter and had a great set up.  I would appreciate any help on this problem. I literally have no clue what happened to the world as this has never happened to me before. 

After looking around in some of the files i found the chat logs from last world and it even goes up to the point where the server shutdown, if this is the case i feel like the world should have a save somewhere\
