E_INVALID_TOKEN. Gah. (Solved.)

Recommended Posts

So, I have the dreaded "E_INVALID_TOKEN" error whenever I try to start a dedicated server. I've checked the integrity. I've generated a new token (using the console at the main menu). I've put the .txt file in basically every directory related to the server. I've added [ACCOUNT], with "server_token = (copypaste)" in it, to basically every file.

Nothing works. This hasn't worked for well over a year now. This doesn't work across an OS reinstall. The guide on the forums is horribly outdated and mentions things that don't even exist anymore, such as generating a token through the web portal.

I'm entirely stumped. Here, have a Pastebin. Does anyone have any suggestions?

EDIT: Nevermind, got it. Upon posting the Pastebin, I noticed that the path was wrong. Man, I forgot how much I dislike this specific mechanism for setting paths. Anyway, after some fanagling with -persistent_storage_root, -cluster, and -shard, I got it to point to the correct folder. All is well now!

Now, onto figuring why they don't like the ports I've set..

EDIT2: Okay, ports fixed. Huzzah!
