Shank won't start on steam / win 10

Does anyone else have issues starting the game? When I double click the game it says running for a short while, syncing and then nothing. No screen opening up or anything.

I tried installing all the directX files, setting my 75hz screen to 60hz and all the other things people mentioned but no luck. I would really love to play the game but it doesn't boot nor does it give me an error either.
