Wesley Tesla
I'm suffering with bad ping. My friend is hosting the game and when I press "TAB" it is displayed that it (server) is great but I am bad. In addition, a red or transparent plug symbol (when it is almost impossible to play) is displayed at the top left of the screen. Our computers are good (we play at 60 fps). My internet is 7M and his is 100M fiber (or more). Researching, I believe the problem is the route the data takes. That's why I want to know how the connection works; When I connect with it I first connect with the steam, with Klei server or is it a P2P connection? Is there any way I can do a "Tracert" with his IP? Note: Sorry for errors, I'm translating on google. astroapyr
Are you connected to your switch/router through wifi? There is a huge difference between playing wirelessly and directly connected to the switch/router. I speak spanish, if it helps. Also worth mentioning that my friend and I are in the same city (less than 40Km). You can continue in English. I can read it anyway. Thank you for your concern.
