[BUG] Bioluminescence

anytime i pick up Bio-luminescence my game begins to crash regularly. If i play a game and never pick them up I almost never get crashes. but as soon as I have them or while im catching them my game will regularly crash. I am using a Xbox one controller. I dont know if that has anything to do with it. I can replicate it by simply picking them up with a net. anyone else have this issue?

after some testing, I can avoid crashing by switching to mouse and keyboard before handling the biolumes

Yup, this seems to be a controller specific issue, thanks for reporting it! Working on a fix.
