Playing on the Xbox Series X, offline mode, both single player and splitscreen. I open the game > host a game > create the world > takes ages to load but plays fine. Bug appears when you want to stop playing. Quitting the game, disconnecting and turning off the console (I've tried all 3) the game won't save data and when I log back in the privacy policy appears as if I've never played before and there are no saves. I read other people have has this issue and said you need to make sure to return to the menu before quitting. But if I try to disconnect the server it goes to a loading screen and soft locks with the loading animation and image playing forever.
I've never played a game with such a game breaking bug. As it's unplayable, unfortunately the bug only appeared after I'd played a few hours so Xbox won't refund me so extremely disappointed.
Start game on Xbox Series X in offline mode, host game, create world. Play as long as you want then try to dissconnect. The soft locks and no progress has been saved.
