Temporary Softlock when loading

Whenever the character loads into a world, the caves, surface, rollbacks etc., the player character is already loaded into the world, but there's still a loading screen (the amount of times I've died to Batilisks when loading into the surface is an embarrassingly high number). Time also continues while still loading: an example is whenever I generate a new world, I'm already several segments into day 1, no matter how quickly I choose a character.
