"Something went awry" connectivity issue

Ive been playing with my Xbox friends on DST for a few weeks now and all of a sudden everytime I try and join them the "something went awry" pops up. I've done everything said to do such as checking for updates, uninstalling game, restarting wifi, checking nat type and it's still not working. Any advice?

Steps to Reproduce

Nothing was done, one day I hopped on using the same internet and console and it wouldn't let me join, and still doesn't. It's been 5 days.

Its been happening to me to no one can join my world and others that have long term worlds it wont let me or anyone else connect to them either

Had the same issue a while back, it ended up being a problem with my Xboxs internet connection and not dst itself. If you are have trouble playing multiplayer in other games as well that may be the problem.
