Icker preserve game crash

I’m so confused on what is actually intentional here (except the crash of course) but i have a row of the preserve kits laid down and tried to use them. Had some meat, put it in, realize i could only put one in so i just try to put another in other preserve. Watch the first one exit the preserve as i put meat in the other preserve. “That’s strange”, go to place it back in, watch the other get kicked out, then watch my game freeze and crash. It did the same thing after i tried repeating it

EDIT: not that i discovered some sort of tedious duplication method that needs to be patched out or something but it seems to drop an extra piece of meat.

EDIT 2: So actually it just create another, it just shows that there is meat in there but doesn’t give you anything when you try to take it out. Was this not supposed to preserve food? Works with lightbulbs
