Don't Starve crashes when I log in to Xbox Series X

Hi, were you able to solve it?

I'm having the SAME problem, it started happening after merging my Steam and Xbox accounts for cross-progression. I don't know if it's related, I need help.

Same here: the console isn't even mine—it belongs to my brother—but ever since I linked my Steam and Xbox accounts, I can't log in to DST, not even as a second player. Before that it worked perfectly.

Okay so, after updating DST on Steam, and trying to log in again through Xbox, it launched without any crashes. My solution was simply to make sure both versions (Xbox and Steam) were up to date.

Honestly, I'm not an expert, but you have the problem in both platforms? Or is it only in Xbox? Have you tried running DST on your computer. I was scared that I had lost my account after the merge, so I checked if I could open it on my computer, which I could, and after that I tried open in on Xbox. If that doesn't work, I don't know how else I could help u.u

Btw I forgot to mention that I also deleted all my mods from the DST workshop, both the client mods and the server mods.

Yes, it's working on my Steam game, the problem is only on Xbox. I just went in and deleted all the mods and the problem still persists. I only want to play on Xbox. I'm a little disappointed with Klei for still not providing official answers.

Were you able to fix it? I'm having the exact same problem on my Xbox Series S.

I still haven't been able to solve it, I'm still having the same problem. Apparently, Klei never responds to bug reports. I guess we just have to wait for the next update. I just want to play on my Xbox, I'm sad. Did your problem start after linking your Steam account to your Xbox?

Yes, I was playing for a few hours and it was fine, then I connected my Xbox account to my Steam account because of the skins I had on PC, and now when I log into Xbox it crashes.

Same here, I played a bit and then connected and it started giving errors. Unfortunately, I don't think it will be resolved anytime soon, I don't know how else to contact Klei.

I emailed Klei support but I doubt they'll reply, so I'll have to play with Wi-Fi off and without skins.
