For me for some reason the world generation cut off most of the Ancient Archive biome, There was the lunar grotto and the path leading to the biome but it was only a fraction of it and it did not contain any of the distilled fountains. I hope you have found this helpful for anyone who has experience this also.
Steps to Reproduce
This has happened to me on three separate occasions, but every time it happened I was playing “Endless Mode”
