Chopping trees, hammering things, mining boulders, and other work is slow on the switch. Spamming extremely fast barely makes the work faster. It feels like there's a cap on how fast you can work. If you look at the pc version, you can work way faster than the switch version. The first two videos are the Switch version, while the second two videos are the PC version.
