Local Hosting issues upon starts or resets

For local games (with 2 switch consoles) When we both die and the game restarts after the timer, It just loads forever. In excess of 15 minutes. Happens 3/4 times so we just reset the game now. 
 Also 50/50 whether the hosts game shows up in the list which is annoying because it takes so long to host/load a game
