After the Wickerbottom rework came out on the Switch, entering and leaving the caves takes a really long time. Not only that, loading protection sometimes doesn't work. I immediately got attacked by batilisks as soon as I left the caves. I also noticed that the text on the loading screen fades a little bit once it's almost done loading which didn't happen before the Wickerbottom rework came out.

 

 

 

Steps to Reproduce

Try entering and exiting the caves with the batilisks outside the caves.

  • Health 1
  • Sad Dupe 1
Go to bugs

rollbacks takes an eternity too, I often just exit the game and rollback in world settings than just rollbacking in-game because it's faster that way.
