Also identically present on OLED Model HEG-001

Nintendo Switch System Software Version 19.0.1

Don't Starve Together Nintendo Switch Edition Version 1.14.0

Upon starting the application the 'Nintendo Switch' splash screen appears properly and fades to the Don't Starve Together splash screen as seen in the first attachment. The small pulley contraption in the bottom right corner that normally moves to indicate loading is frozen in place and the application never proceeds past this screen. Returning to the Home menu and closing the application causes the Switch to hang at the closing screen for a few seconds before producing the error message shown in the second attachment. There is no error code of any sort nor any worded description of what went wrong.

Deleting the save on the console has not remedied the issue. Deleting and reinstalling the application from the Nintendo Switch Store seemingly fixes it for a short time as it proceeds past this screen and creating and playing a world works normally. Upon exiting to the main menu via the pause menu and creating another world however, the application hangs indefinitely at the 'Server is generating world' message. At this point the only thing that can be done is to return to the Home menu and close the application once more. Upon restarting, it once again freezes at the splash screen and returns the error message when closed.

Please let me know if there's any additional information I can provide to help resolve this.

Edit: After several successive minutes of waiting the application did eventually move past both the splash screen and the Generating world message so I believe this issue should be closed. The wait is kind of annoying but as long as this doesn't completely prevent playing I don't mind it.

Steps to Reproduce

Start the Don't Starve Together Nintendo Switch Edition application.
