Characters getting randomly soft locked

This happens to me and my wife a lot. You just need someone else to push you - if you are playing solo, yeah it's a softlock. 

You can break out of it by using an emote. Hope that helps out a bit!

This problem is more likely to occur when the moving speed is high, such as using a cane or riding on beedalo, it also happens in the DS version, I hope it will be repaired soon

Disabling lag comp will also un-softlock you

but that option feels bad to play
