Cannot play local co-op on the same platform

Hello,

I've just bought Don't starve together to play in co-op local on the same machine (a Switch a bought 6 months ago).

I cannot figure out how to play 2 people at the same time. I've seen on other forum that I am not the only one and when I check let's play online it seem to normally be automatic.

I think there is a bug here and that it is pretty big since I bought the game only to play with it that way.

Steps to Reproduce

Connect two remote to the Switch for two separate player

Open the game (in offline)

Create a lobby (for 4 or 2 people)

(test to press the button (+) to add the 2nd player)

Wait for the world to create

(test to press the button (+) to add the 2nd player)

Here only one player can choose a character (and there is nowhere to change it at the time or during the game)

(test to press the button (+) to add the 2nd player)

Go to bugs

I’m pretty sure you’ll need to add the second character first on the main menu (after you select online or offline) before you go on the world.

Hunter is correct u have to press plus in the main menu screen and  have the other person pick an account
