I've been playing Don't Starve Together on PC for many years. Recently, I bought a PS5, and a friend of mine also got his.
We tried playing Don't Starve Together: Console Edition on PS5 together, but without success.
The issue is as follows:
Whenever my friend creates a world and I try to connect, the loading screen stays open for a long time, and in the end, an error occurs, sending me back to the game's main menu. The same happens when I create the world and he tries to join.
The strangest part is that we can join any game available in the search. We can access dedicated servers and join other players' games, but we simply cannot join the worlds we create.
What could be causing this issue?
Note: We are from Brazil.
Steps to Reproduce
1. I select the "Browse Games" option.
2. I search for the game my friend created.
3. I select my friend's game (a "Server Language Mismatch" notification appears).
4. I enter the password.
5. I press Start to log in.
6. After waiting for a while, I fail to join my friend's game and am redirected to the main menu.
