PS5 edition login/DC bug

So, the biggest bug is on the title screen login. It will do the normal login cycle until the end when it says "Updating inventory" and then it will just get stuck and won't let me switch into the main menu screen. 

 

This bug I think is related because it will always cause the first bug to happen but isn't always necessary. But when I'm in a world, whether hosted or not, almost always if I try to enter or leave a cave I'll just get disconnected from the server and will say something like "there's been a server issue". I've witnessed this happening to other players in their worlds too because it will shut down the server since they've left and have talked to a couple players about it. This same server issue will show up when creating new worlds for me as well.

 

I've tried restoring my license, reinstalling, and simply closing app and restarting my PS5. Nothing seems to consistently help if at all.

 

Long time fan of the game and I really hope these issues get resolved soon. It's border unplayable for me though in the current state.

Steps to Reproduce

For me just simply trying to log into the main menu. Then the second bug will be either creating a new world or going in and out of caves. These will also cause the login bug.

Hello,

I have the exact same problem in Ps5. Every now and then the game crashes by entering/leaving caves. 

Meanwhile i cant connect to online gaming and I stuck in 'updating inventory' Screen. 

I can play offline but nothing more. I tried also to Update System, Game, etc. I deleted and reinstalled the Game but nothing helps. 

Then i tried to buy me one new Character... but it still stucks in the 'updating inventory' Screen. And the new Character is still locked in offline Mode.

 

Would be nice to solve this Problem without loosing my progress...

...so when I delete the console Game Data, i can Login... But all my Savegames are gone, no worlds etc. Also my progress with skins etc.

When i download the old game Data from the cloud and overwrite the newer one I have the 'updating inventory' Problem again. 

...its sad to loose the worlddata because me and some other Player have played one year without dying and a nice Base etc...

I have the same issue, happened two days ago. All the progress on the ps5 version is gone.  Then I switched to the ps4 version, the data not sync to ps4
