(Playing ps4 edition on ps5) I had the issue many others had with Pearl's progress being halted, as I couldn't get the Sawhorse blueprint, but I had already defeated Pearl socketed CK and returned the cracked pearl. After the update fix, I placed the replica chair and she gave me the blueprint, as well as a new Pearl's Pearl. Now bottles in the ocean don't guarantee sunken treasure anymore, most are just Pearl's messages. I assume I would need to defeat Pearl socketed CK again, but still I don't believe that is intended
Likely that it would work on a world that hasn't been opened since the last update. If a world has already returned Pearl's cracked Pearl to her and has not gotten the sawhorse blueprint before the update, try and get the blueprint or make progress in Pearl's tasks to see if they reset. Also search the ocean for bottles to see if they guarantee sunken treasure
