Game won't load past the first screen, completely freezes my PlayStation

My don't starve together, whenever I open it on PlayStation, it keeps me stuck on the menu with willow and Wilson standing there forever, I've tried waiting a LONG time and it still won't load, and if I try to do anything, like close application, check application information, ANYTHING. It completely freezes my PS4, to the point of needing to entirely unplug my PS4 to turn it off. 

I've tried rebuilding the database, restarting my PS4, and Deleting and reinstalling the game, and nothing seems to work. 

I've never had this happen before and I don't know what the solution is or what to do, I'd  hate to lose all my hard work
