Can't place bull kelp in water

The new grid feature seems to be malfunctioning. Can't place bull kelp in the water. Character can't reach.

Steps to Reproduce

Ps5. Try to place bull kelp in water. Character can't reach. Won't allow me to place kelp.

If you choose the smallest grid and stand as near as possible to the water, its possible the game will select the second green row. If you try to plant there, your character cant reach it.

my solution ist to keep a little distance to the water, that way you select the first green tile and are able to place kelps.

I play on ps5 as well
