The steam update has an option "view updates" whenever a patch is released for ONI. This opens up this age; https://store.steampowered.com/news/apps/457140?updates=true . This is an empty page.
The menu has a clickable image with the title of the latest release. At the time of writing this is "Rad new Worlds". Opening this opens the following page: https://forums.kleientertainment.com/game-updates/oni-so/ . That page contains patch notes for the big merge update from 2021-06-24. I found the real patch notes via googeling. they are at: https://forums.kleientertainment.com/game-updates/oni-alpha/
Please fix this, it's a small annoyance, but it got me so many times.
- Install game on steam
- wait for patch
- click "view updates" in steam
- Open game
- Click patch image
- look for patch in those patch notes.
