Wrangled but not delivered hatch buries itself at daybreak, then gets stuck in loop following night

Wrangled hatch next to mealgrub farm was constantly burying itself/popping out of ground. Cannot be delivered now.

Steps to Reproduce

Wrangle hatch shortly before daybreak. If it is trussed but not delivered when day comes, it buries itself.

The following night, it unburies itself. Then switches to trussed. Then buries itself again. Then unburies itself, and loops like that.

However, after saving and reloading the game, hatch stops looping and remains trussed and deliverable.
