Printing pods don't countdown from 3

I had a similar issue, for me the reason was, that on one of the extra planets I build a porta pot but didn't activate it. After i activated it, it fixed the issue. I don't believe this is intended.

Got a similar issue where I didn't get a print for the past 30 cycle. I figured that I've build an airlock underneath the main printing pod and each time the airlock was open the timer was reset to 3 cycles.
