When on one asteroid, the plants of a different one are visible with the farming overlay. Also, the pictograms of unpack commands (for interplanitary payloads) and visible. See screenshots:

Also (I will make another bug report for this if I can't find ) the tooltip text above the names of the asteroids display the wrong hotkeys for the other asteroids (like "BACKPACE + 8" when the correct number for that asteroid is "4 ". ).
I have seen this in a previous playthrough too. Play as usual, discover the neutronium on the left and right of the asteroids, use plant overlay to see plants of asteroid number three's far right while looking at asteroid number four's far left.
A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
