The value of passed gas displayed by the gas meter valve does not match the value of gas accumulated in a rocket gas tank. Gas is lost on the way to the tank.
I’m using gas meter valves to fill my rocket gas tanks with specific amounts of different gases e.g., CO2 for the trip home and O2 for live support. However, the amount of gas inside of the rocket does not match the amount of transported gas according to the meter valves. Loss of gas due to phase change is unlikely due to the low liquifying temperatures of the gases, the high temperatures of the pipes in question and no observable damages to the pipes.
In principle fill a rocket gas tank with a gas passing by a valve meter first. This bug, however, is quite inconsistent and currently I’m not able to reproduce it. I added a screenshot of the setup occasionally exhibiting this behaviour.
