Gas Cargo Canister accepting gas over the set limit

I was trying to store some oxygen in my Gas Cargo Canister via the Gas Intake Fitting, connected to the outside via the IN ventilation port of the Solo Spacefarer Nosecone.

I wanted to take only a few Kgs with me and I then set a limit to the Gas Cargo Canister.

The Gas Cargo Canister kept accepting gas well over the limit I set until I disconnected the pipe as it was emptying my base of Oxygen.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Put a Gas Cargo Canister on a rocket
  2. Put a Solo Spacefarer Nosecone on the rocket
  3. Set a limit to the Gas Cargo Canister
  4. Pipe gas into the Gas Cargo Canister via a Gas Intake Fitting inside the Solo Spacefarer Nosecone
  5. The gas goes over the limit set
