Game Crash At launch

mine seems different then MF99k's  Launch crash so i made a new ticket.

OK update, i can now get to the main menu.

however when i click new game or load i go to a black hole. i can click all other menu options, mods, options, translations and they work as expected.

before as the klei splash screen popped up i instantly went to the black hole, now after

reinstall the game and verified

remove all mods and unsubscribed to them

deleted all saves

unchecked cloud saves

i can now get to the ONI main menu. however when i click new game i get the option for survival or easy. i click either one i get the black hole. same if i click "load" which i strange there is no saves to look for or display. 

side question As the DLC is early access now. i assume the beta is over and my game reverted back NON-DLC game as the main menu looks like the ONI with out the DLC installed. or did reinstalling pork everything.and send me back?

I first had the other launch crash with the missing sucrose but a repair fixed that and now i got this one.

Update part 2:

Reading other posts i found this one and the quoted section by  Ipsquiggle

i did this. and my ONI is back up and running. i'll have to buy and install the DLC Later.

so i'm going out on a limb and guess that the uninstall does not remove this folder or leaves traces of the DLC(beta) behind, and the reinstall sees these files and be leaves they are the correct ones during a reinstall.
