Bammoths are supposed to stay warm in cold environments, with their insulation and ability to generate heat, and their ability to eat plant growth off of plants that exclusively grow in negative temperatures. But even in low SHC atmosphere such as oxygen, they lose heat. In the second screenshot, it says that they're heating up with 0.0008°C/s, but that's a lie. Bammoths spawn at 50°C, and here they're below that. If they were actually heating up, they'd be above 50°C. Going from 50°C to 47.4°C in 36 cycles would be -0.0001°C/s. If it's not a bug, then it's a UI issue, as with more than 1kDTU/s innate heat generation and less than -1kDTU/s heat lose due to environment, Bammoths should not be getting colder.
Bammoth in -35°C oxygen:
Body temperature UI of the same Bammoth showing that they're heating up when they're clearly not:
Put a Bammoth in cold gas, observe the body temperature of the Bammoth periodically (or just check that after a few cycles they're below their starting temperature of 50°C), and compare it to Body Temperature change, and note that they don't match up.
A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
