Sim backwall cells seems to not correctly conserve heat

  • Branch: Preview Branch Version: Windows Fixed

Two setups:

1424kg salt water 33C x 8 cells (no backwall cell)

1100kg salt water 33C x 8 cells with 1696kg coquina backwall cells 33ish C x8

These two have roughly the same total heat energy. Yet after running it for a cycle they come out to vastly different temperatures.40C vs roughly 35C

User Feedback

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

And here's a setup to duplicate heat in the other direction (top cell has a backwall cell+steel cell on it, bottom cell does not and is just a diamond window tile)

Changed Status to Fixed

I believe this is fixed or at least significantly improved by a fix to backwall temperature exchange with its cell overwriting temperature exchange with cells to the left or bellow the cell in question.
