I exited the game during the night time of the cycle. I relaunched the game, and the night music continued playing through the day. Day music also plays at the same time. The fix is to relaunch the game during the day.
Steps to Reproduce
Quit and save the game during the night. Enter the game again and play normally. trough the day.
A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
