Game crashes when trying to build any decor item, furniture, sculpting block, or activating the Decor overlay

I play on the beta branch with Steam on Windows. At game start screen, it says "TESTING BUILD U53-641371-V

Playing vanilla, no DLC. 

When I click on any decor item, plant pot, sculpting block, piedestal, wall painting in the Furniture build menu, the game crashes.

This is consistent and has happened over 10 times over many hours of gameplay.

 

Added: The game also frequently crashes when clicking on the decor overlay, so I suspect the problem might be related to that, since choosing a decor building in the menu perhaps activate the decor overlay (?) 

Added: I can place decor if I do it immediately after loading a savegame. But if I play for a few minutes it will always crash when trying to place decor. 

 

Steps to Reproduce

Try to build any furniture, plant pot, sculpting block or wall painting. Or activate the decor overlay

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

Changed Status to Fixed

Might be tough to avoid in an established save unfortunately, the precondition for this crash is a duplicant removing a bottle/canister from the bottler/canister filler. Crash occurs when the decor overlay attempts to render the deleted temporary art asset for that bottle.
