Pearl tiles don't let any light through, considering it's glassy I would expect it to.
Most natural tiles that you'd expect to let light through do in fact let some light through, including diamonds, ice, frozen mucin, frozen ovaline, solid resin, etc. I'm shocked pearls don't considering they can be used to make window tiles.
As far as I know pearl tiles are impossible to make outside of sandbox mode, so this has no real in-game impact.
Steps to Reproduce
Create pearl tiles in sandbox mode and check the light overlay

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
