Withered plant revive when load the game

Sorry for my bad English

I was making fully automated farm with conveyor belt. I planted bunch of bristle blossoms and waited until they wither and drop their berries. First time I made it, taking extra 4 days until they drop the result. I loaded the save file while I wait second harvest. I surely checked they were withered and only 1 days to drop, but I found the blossom resurrected when I load the game. As you guys know the file always loaded paused. When I just hit the space bar they just live again and screw up my harvest! Is this intended or just a glitch?

PS :
I experimented about the bug with bristle berry, and I found the problem.
after crop ripened, it takes 4 cycles to self-harvest, wither and return to sprout form. After the save file load, this timer simply initialized to zero.
