When changing the UI size the build buttons at the bottom keep moving down so they can't be read

I play on a 4k projector on a room-size screen and must increase the UI scale to be able to read anything.  Once I do that, the buttons at the bottom that show the building categories eventually move down hiding their descriptions.  It can be fixed by going back into options -> graphics and changing the UI scale up or down.  This temporary fix will put the buttons back in place allowing them to be read until eventually, usually minutes later, the issue repeats itself and I can no longer read the button descriptions.  Something in the UI with the UI scale set above 100% causes those buttons to misbehave at 4k.

Steps to Reproduce

Set the resolution to 3840x2160

Start playing the game

Hit Esc, go to Options then Graphics

Change the UI Scale to 130+

Play for a while, Save, Load, just normal gameplay

Buttons will eventually move down making them unreadable

User Feedback

I can confirm this bug and have the same behaviour.

Running under linux with 3840x2160 and ui scaling 130%

Change the scale helps until I reload the game.

I've had issues with this bug since I purchased the game several years ago. It's very odd how because the greyed out icons never have the text go below the edge of the screen but the active ones always do. Changing the scale "fixes" the problem for me as well until the next reload. I typically just set the resolution to whatever is closest to my mouse, hit apply, and the hit cancel. The screen changes resolution and then goes back. The button text is then visible for until the next reload.

Yep, UI scale changing does not help anymore.

Any solutions ?

You need to load a save with a resolution lower than 3840x2400, then switch back in-game and adjust the interface scaling.

Steps: Main Menu > Change the resolution to 2560x (the building panel will be readable) or 1920x (this seems to display correctly) > Load a save > Change the resolution back to 3840x and adjust the interface scaling.
For me, this works until the next save is loaded.
