I can't tell what's going on with anything on my screen because anything but the background elements seem to be converted to weird plaid-like patterns instead of people and objects.
I'm on a macbook with the OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 operating system. This occurs every time I open the game. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it with no noticeable change.
Steps to Reproduce
This has occurred without fail. The only step I have taken is to launch the game from steam and try playing it. Changing the graphics options do not seem to have any effect.
