the game freezes during world generation

oni can´t create new maps with "start new game"on my desktop system.

the world generation freezes at 51,8% (live branch) respectively at "distributing personal boundaries" (preview branch).

i reinstalled from scratch - doesnt´ help.

output.log says "Input string was not in a correct format"

word generation works as expected on my laptop (same windows version - same language )

loading previously saved games works well.

word creation originally worked on the desktop too. (last time i checked this was before the  space industry update)

in my language, the comma is used as decimal separator istead of the dot.

steam version used.
