Temperature defaults to Celsius every time the game's opened + seed planting temperature

I'm a fairly scientifically minded person, and honestly want to get more used to using the kelvin scale, but every time I start up the game, it has its temperatures in the Celsius scale, even though, when I go into the options menu, it has Kelvin checked off, and can only revert it TO kelvin by changing it into Celsius THEN to Kelvin.

and on a side note, I keep noticing that whenever I plant Reed Fiber seeds in hydroponic farms, their temperature defaults to 293.2K (~20C) , no matter what the temperature of the seed or the planter is... which wouldn't be so bad if it's MINIMUM growing temperature WASN'T 295K (~21.9C)... which makes me wonder if it's the same with something like sleet wheat (278.2K Max) or Pincha Pepper (308.2K Min) which would take MUCH longer to start growing if that were the case
