Steam Vent "Next Activity" not updating well

Seems like the time to "next activity" is not updating well with my cool steam vent. I'd know, since I'm chasing that timer to vacuum the area around it (I wasn't fast enough, so I reloaded the 3 cycle old save to add one more pump), and I'm observing it very closely.

It's happened before I realoaded the save, and now again. First time I noticed, I quit the game, noticed it updated, then loaded my word back up. However, it keeps happening. Unfortunately, I couldn't figure how to time any useful screenshots, but here's my save. I literally just observed the cool steam geyser timer go from 2.6 cycles to 1.4 cycles within a second or two.

Here's a screenshot with 1.4 cycles remaining. I do click on other tiles before re-clicking the geyser, and I just observed the drop in the last check. It didn't even go down by 1 cycle, it went down by 1.2 (and I am expecting it to show me a more precise count that close to the timer).
