Starving slicksters

I was trying to ranch longhair slicksters in my base, but after some time a loop between having 5-6 calories and being starving started. The base is normally 1400-1800g of oxygen. They are happy and groomed in a stable with 96 tiles. I put mesh tiles to make sure its only oxygen in there. I also noticed that the problem kinda solved when lowering the game speed to 1, but come back when returning to max speed.

I don't know if it happends with the other slicksters.
